Stuttgart (dpa) – Warsteiner tennis pro Jan-Lennard Struff’s round of 16 game at the ATP tournament in Stuttgart was interrupted on Wednesday due to rain and is scheduled to continue on Thursday.
After 1:20 hours it was 6: 7 (2: 7), 4: 3 between the 32-year-old and the Italian Lorenzo Sonego. The duel planned for the connection between Cologne Oscar Otte and Canadian Denis Shapovalov was completely postponed to Thursday.
Struff and 28-year-old Otte are the only remaining Germans in the individual field of the lawn event, which is endowed with 769,645 euros.
