The national coaches of Croatia and France met during the Nations League match of their teams. Both men lost their father last week and found comfort in each other Monday evening.
Dalic left the training of the national team for a short time to his coaching staff last week after his father passed away. Deschamps’ father passed away last Tuesday. The national coaches were of course aware of each other’s loss. They expressed their support for each other with a warm embrace.
