Qatar 2022, World Cup, groups: Wales qualified 30th

It is Wales to conquer the last place reserved for European teams for the Qatar World Cup in 2022. Great celebration for the Welsh, who return to play a world championship 64 years after the last time.

GROUP B

Wales are therefore the thirtieth team (out of 32) to qualify for the World Cup. He will go to group B, in the company of the USA (match scheduled for November 21st), Iran (November 25th) and England. The historic challenge with the English will be played on 29 November and could be decisive for the fate of the group. It will be the first time that two British national teams will compete in the first phase of the World Cup.

THE SITUATION

The last two elected remain to be chosen. One will come from the winner of the match between the United Arab Emirates and Australia (scheduled for June 7 in Doha, Qatar), which will then go on to challenge Peru on June 13. The last piece will be reserved for Costa Rica or New Zealand, which on June 14 will face each other in an intercontinental play-off in Doha, Qatar.
