Kalle Samoa has won the European Golf Tour in Hamburg, Germany. Samoa earns almost 292,000 euros from the profit.

Samooja played superbly on the closing day of the tournament and played eight strokes under a pair on Sunday. The result of the Finnish strokes was 72 + 72 + 74 + 64 = 282.

Samooja left the race for 21st place in the final round.

Samoa won the race by two strokes before the Netherlands Wil Besseling.

The Finn set a field record on Sunday with a result of 64. The improvement from previous days was wild, as the results in the first three rounds were between 72 and 74 strokes.

This is the biggest victory of the 34-year-old Samoa’s career. The Finns had won the European tour before Samoa Mikko Ilonen, Mikko Korhonen, Roope Kakko and Sami Välimäki.

Korhonen, who took part in the Hamburg competition, placed 40th overall.
