In Limburg, a large-scale search is underway for Gino, who disappeared after playing football on Wednesday evening. The police assume that the child is in mortal danger and take into account a crime.
No trace of Gino
The boy, who actually lives in Maastricht, disappeared on Wednesday evening in Kerkrade, where he was staying with his sister Kelly (32) because his mother is ill. According to Naomi, another sister, he went to play football at a playground in Kerkrade on Wednesday evening. He should have been back by 7:30 PM, but an hour later there was no trace of the boy. The family searched for the boy late into the night. “Me and my sister searched until five o’clock last night,” Naomi says in tears. “Called everywhere and everything. But just no trace. Nothing. Nowhere.”
Scared in the dark
Gino’s family is very sad. They are very concerned. “You don’t know where he ended up,” Naomi sobs. “What does he experience at night? You do not know. And he is also so afraid of the dark. It’s not like him not to come home.” The family has hung and handed out flyers everywhere. An Amber Alert has also been sent for the missing person. Naomi: “I just hope he gets home quickly and safely.”
