Márquez underwent fourth surgery after breaking his arm

Six-time MotoGP World Champion Marc Márquez has had his fourth operation after breaking his upper arm two years ago.

The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota said the three-hour procedure went without complications. The 29-year-old Spaniard will remain in the United States for observation in the coming days before returning home for further treatment.

Due to the failure of the former series world champion, German motorcycle rider Stefan Bradl will be making his third appearance of the current MotoGP season in Barcelona this weekend.

According to his own statements, the 32-year-old will also be at the start of the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring (June 19) as a substitute for the Honda works team.
