Sarri-Lazio, renewal until 2025: there is the signature

An agreement finalized in recent days, and which should soon be official: Maurizio Sarri and Lazio extend their agreement until 2025, with a salary of 3.5 million a year, without clauses or bonuses. The signature arrived in Formello in the evening.

Not that there was a hurry: the previous agreement between Sarri and Lazio expired in 2023. But it was a necessary step to affirm the new biancoceleste cycle and the choices that are coming to the market. Sarri had inherited a group shaped by a coach (Simone Inzaghi) with another tactical creed, and his first season was “acclimatising”, which ended however with a good fifth place. Now he needs players functional to his football, and it is no coincidence that Lazio are among the most active teams on the market: practically taken Marcos Antonio, Romagnoli and Carnesecchi neighbors, some sales and a liquidity index are needed to start closing others strokes. But the renewal is still a good sign of guarantee for Sarri.
