Ryan Gravenberch’s transfer has been completed. The 20-year-old Ajax player leaves for Bayern Munich and signs a five-year contract with the German superpower. Der Rekordmeister counts about 24.5 million euros for the midfielder.
Gravenberch is the second player to make the switch from Amsterdam to southern Germany this summer. Noussair Mazraoui previously signed a contract with Bayern Munich, which has crowned itself champion of Germany over the past ten years. Mazraoui was transfer-free and signs a four-year contract with Bayern Munich.
With his 16 years and 130 days, Gravenberch was the youngest debutant ever in the first team of Ajax in 2018. He came in as a substitute in the match against PSV. In the following years, Gravenberch played 103 official matches for Ajax in which he scored twelve times and provided thirteen assists.
