We have a four-week delay at these crossings in the center of Zoetermeer

The traffic lights in the center of Zoetermeer urgently need to be replaced. For four weeks we will have to deal with delays at the connections of the Afrikaweg, Amerikaweg, Europaweg and Nederlandlaan.

The traffic lights in these places have been in service for twenty years. High time to replace them with new ones, let the municipality know. The major maintenance will take place from Monday 30 May to Friday 24 June.

Redirects

During the work, the traffic lights will not work and the speed will be reduced. There are traffic controllers at the Europaweg, Nederlandlaan and Afrikaweg intersections from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Normal traffic rules apply from 7 p.m.

The road between Amerikaweg and Europaweg will be closed in both directions. Traffic will be diverted via the Afrikaweg-Meerzichtlaan and Zwaardslootseweg-Muzieklaan. A temporary traffic light will be installed at the Afrikaweg and Amerikaweg intersection during the work.

Bus 30

Bus traffic to and from bus station Centrum West can continue to use the normal routes. Only bus 30 of transport company EBS detours via Meerzichtlaan.
