Marc O’Polo has appointed Isabelle von Watzdorf to the role of Director Buying & Production.

She will take over this position on June 1st, as the clothing supplier announced on Wednesday. Von Watzdorf succeeds Geworg Ambarzumian, who “is leaving the company at his own request after three and a half years and is devoting himself to his own projects in the area of sourcing and procurement,” according to Stephanskirchen.

In her new role, she will manage the purchasing and production processes as part of collection development. With regard to the supply chain, she will also be responsible for the areas of product sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

“I am very pleased that with Isabelle von Watzdorf we can welcome a new colleague with many years of experience and a high level of expertise in the area of buying and production,” said CPO Susanne Schwenger. “She is the ideal person to support us in the further development of this area as part of our internationalization strategy and to maintain and expand our long-standing relationships with our partners and suppliers.”

From Watzdorf comes from British fashion house Burberry to Marc O’Polo. There she was last active as Vice President of Sourcing & Raw Material Management. She has also held similar positions for brands such as J.Crew, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren.

Sandro Schramm becomes Director Marketing, Licensing & Growth

In addition to Von Watzdorf, Sandro Schramm, who has been with the company since 2018, will also have a new role.
