Long-time Bundesliga professional Thomas Dooley will be the national soccer coach of the Philippines for the second time.
The 133rd in the FIFA world rankings announced the signing of the 61-year-old American on Wednesday. Dooley is already in action for the Azkals in Mongolia’s qualifier for the Asian Championship starting June 8th.
Born in Bechhofen, Palatinate, Dooley, who has played 199 Bundesliga games for Homburg, Kaiserslautern, Leverkusen and Schalke, was the Philippines coach during his first term from 2014 to 2018.
