The sneaker brand Mikakus, which was co-founded by soccer pro Andrés Iniesta, is expanding to Austria.
Steffl now offers the range for spring/summer in its shoe department, the Viennese fashion retailer announced on Wednesday. The 2022 summer collection is inspired by “nature and the harmony of its simplicity”. To this end, Mikakus only works with producers in Europe who “guarantee fair working conditions for their employees and use ecological practices,” the statement says.
Mikakus was founded in Barcelona in 2018 and is now available in 80 countries. The brand also has two stores of its own – one is in Barcelona and the other in the Japanese city of Kobe, where Iniesta is currently playing.
In the brand’s own online shop, shoes cost between 175 and 245 euros. In addition, different socks are offered there for 15 euros per pair.
