Casselly and Sibon are eliminated in round one
After René Casselly was crowned the first “Ninja Warrior Germany” last year, he also wanted to win the Allstars title this season. The 25-year-old, who was also victorious at Ninja Warrior Team, could have grabbed the “triple”.
But for Casselly it was the end of the line against Lukas Kilian in the first round. “I also want to win the treble and be an Allstar, so I’ll be back next year to get the title,” Casselly promised. After the first lap, Kilian had two reasons to be happy. He also secured the 5,000 euros for the fastest preliminary round.
Astrid Sibon lost her duel against Arleen Schüßler. In the first Allstars season, “Krasstrid” was named “Last Woman Standing”.
In addition to Schlüßer and Kilian, Max Görner, Leonardo Calderon, Benjamin Grams, Stefanie Edelmann, Sladjan Djulabic, Benjamin Schmidt-Markurt, Daniel Schmidt and Eric Zekina reached the second round.
Steffi Noppinger becomes “Last Woman Standing”
As in the regular season, Stefanie Noppinger won the title of “Last Woman Standing”. The Austrian won in the second stage against Arleen Schuessler. For this she received 25,000 euros in prize money.
“It was really a race at eye level. The decision was so close,” said Edelmann, who praised Schuessler as “incredibly strong”.
A curious scene occurred in the duel between Benjamin Schmidt-Markurt and Sladjan Djulabic. When crossing Schmidt-Markurts, water splashed up. However, it was not clear whether there was actually water contact. In consultation with the other ninjas, Schmidt-Markurt and Djulabic finally moved into the next round, so that one athlete was allowed to climb the ladder to heaven more than originally planned.
In addition, Eric Zekina, Benjamin Grams and Lukas Kilian reached the third stage.
“Clucky Luke” is crowned “Ninja Warrior Allstar”
Djulabic and Kilian prevailed on the endless ladder to heaven, so that there was a big showdown between the two athletes at the Power Tower. As in the first Allstars season last year, Sladi made it into the last round of the show again.
At the Power Tower, Kilian was able to quickly work out a lead, which he confidently defended until the buzzer. As a result, the 29-year-old was crowned “Ninja Warrior Allstar” and at the same time won the 50,000 euros. “I thank everyone who has ever trained with me,” said an emotional Kilian after his triumph.
How did the stages in the final look like?
The first round started with the arrow jump. Via the wave sled with the pendulum trunk, it went on to the flying boards with the hanging basket. Those who didn’t let themselves be thrown off balance by the chaos balls found themselves at the cracker. Finally it went up the wall.
The second stage started with the surf boards. The swinging wings were followed by the Hangel Mikado. After that, only the 2.0 jump bar separated the ninjas from the chimney.
In round three, the endless ladder to heaven, which reached under the roof of the hall, awaited. The two ninjas who completed the entire ladder to heaven in the best time, or managed most of the 35 rungs, secured their place at the power tower, which formed the last stage.
