Wolford is postponing the publication of its audited financial statements for the 2021 fiscal year for the second time. The main collection will also be postponed, as the hosiery manufacturer from Bregenz, Austria, announced on Friday.
The audited annual financial statements and consolidated financial statements are to be published by June 17 at the latest. Wolford intends to name a new date for the postponed general meeting in the near future.
Wolford withdraws positive EBIT forecast
Wolford did not give any reasons for the repeated postponement of the publication of the consolidated financial statements. But the fashion company said it expects to post positive earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization for fiscal 2021. At the same time, Wolford warns that earnings before interest and taxes will not be as positive as forecast.
At the end of April, Wolford already postponed the publication of its annual financial statements to May 25 at the latest. Wolford named his auditor as the reason. He said that the “scheduled date cannot be met because the examination documents were not received on time”.
Other fashion companies are also postponing annual financial statements
Wolford is not the only company from the German-speaking region that has postponed the publication of its consolidated financial statements at the end of April.
The fashion company Gerry Weber postponed the publication of the consolidated financial statements and the annual general meeting on April 28. Two weeks later, the group announced a loss of 5.01 million euros. This corresponds to half of the Group’s share capital.
