Premier League – win against Palace: Everton stays in the league

London (AP) – Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool FC can also look forward to a city derby against Everton next season.

The local rivals, coached by former England midfield star Frank Lampard, beat Crystal Palace 3-2 in the catch-up game despite being 2-0 down at the break to stay up with one game remaining. Chelsea, coached by Thomas Tuchel, had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Leicester City, but the Blues have already secured a place in the Champions League.

Michael Keane (54′), Richarlison (75′) and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (85′) turned the game around for Everton in the second half after former Mainz player Jean-Philippe Mateta (21′) and Jordan Ayew ( 36.) had taken the lead.
