This would appear from a manifesto that the eighteen-year-old has put online. That 180 (!) page document is said to describe how Gendron began to deal with race theory out of boredom during the early days of the corona pandemic. He would have been radicalized during that period into a convinced racist and anti-Semite, writes the New York Post.
No coincidence
Gendron also describes in it how and where he would carry out his act of terror. It was no accident that he chose the Tops Friendly supermarket in Buffalo. His ‘research’ had shown that the percentage of black residents in that postcode area is the highest. Of the 13 people hit in the hail of bullets, 11 were black. Buffalo is a few hours drive from his hometown.

That Gendron was able to purchase the weapons baffled the investigators. An investigation had been underway since last year against the young man, who had threatened to shoot his classmates at school. According to The Buffalo News, the boy is expected to undergo a psychological evaluation. “Officials at his school had already reported that this ‘seriously troubled young man’ had given signals that he wanted to start a shooting, for example during a graduation ceremony,” a government official told the newspaper.
The gunman had painted the ‘n-word’ on the barrel of the weapon that he used to mow down more than ten innocent shoppers.
