Elsewhere is versatile and innovative and is constantly evolving. The original Dutch brand for women is sold in more and more countries and the number of collections is also growing. The third intermediate collection will be delivered in May under the name “Flash Collection”. The shopkeepers are particularly happy, especially because the collections are now available up to size 3XL.

mix and match

The Elsewhere summer collection is traditionally delivered in January and February, and the winter collection in July and August. In order to keep the store assortment up to date, retailers have been asking for extra collections and additional articles for some time. “Last year we successfully launched the first two intermediate collections,” says designer Anne Habers. “The so-called Flash collections are designed in such a way that the pieces perfectly match the collection in the shops. The Flash collection gives the store an attractive upgrade. Everything “mixes & matches” with the summer collection that is currently hanging in the store. With a few new items, the Elsewhere woman can once again create numerous new looks.”

Creative combinations

The collection includes various black and off-white basics that can be creatively combined with a surprising detail. Take the A-line dress with buttons down the front, for example: if you leave the buttons closed, you wear it as a dress. However, if you undo the buttons and wear trousers underneath, it suddenly becomes a tunic. And if you also tie a knot in one of the ends, you get a nice puff effect. Anne: “So you can vary this endlessly.”

highlights

Other highlights from the collection are the beautiful summer jumpsuit with a low crotch, the plain-colored basic trousers in black and off-white made of viscose, the comfortable wide trousers in airy linen/cotton quality, the blouse that can also be worn as a blazer and the sheer top with cap sleeves. In short, there are again plenty of items to choose from.

Artisanal knitwear

A very special item from the Flash collection is the crocheted top. There is a story connected with that. Anne: “Our knitting and crocheting are handmade by women in developing countries. Whatever I design, they can make it. These include openwork models, intricate patterns, macrame… really something very special. But the best thing about it is of course that the women can cover their basic needs thanks to their creativity and our cooperation.”

About Elsewhere

Elsewhere is an original Dutch brand for women that is not only progressive in their designs, but also in terms of sustainability. With an energy-neutral building in Andelst, its own sewing workshop in Poland and the procurement of predominantly sustainable fabrics and materials from Europe, Elsewhere manages and controls almost the entire supply chain – from design to production to delivery.
