Frankfurt/Main (dpa) – Eintracht Frankfurt will broadcast the final of the Europa League in its own stadium on the big screen.
Since Monday (10:00 a.m.) the Hessian Bundesliga club has been wanting to start advance sales for the game against Glasgow Rangers, which takes place on May 18 (9:00 p.m. / RTL) in Seville. Tickets for entry into the 2006 World Cup stadium will cost ten euros. A screen measuring 400 square meters is set up there. For Frankfurt it is the first international final since 1980. The Hessians have received a contingent of 10,000 tickets for the stadium in Seville.
The rush for the tickets was great. There were complaints about very long digital queues, where fans had to be patient to get to their ticket order. A large crowd is also expected in the city in Andalusia, with significantly more than just the 10,000 final ticket holders traveling to Seville.
