The clothing retailer Witt Group continued on its growth path in the 2021/22 financial year, which ended at the end of February. At 1.23 billion euros, sales were 13 percent above the level of the previous year, the company, which belongs to the Hamburg retail and service group Otto Group, announced on Monday. The online business grew at a disproportionately high rate, increasing its share of total sales from around 35 to around 37 percent.
The Heine mail order company, which was integrated into the group at the end of 2019, also confirmed its upward trend: sales rose by eight percent compared to the previous year to 247 million euros. “Heine is finally back on the road to success,” said Patrick Boos, CEO of the Witt Group, in a statement.
