Milan clubs in step, Juve in the premier class

AC Milan remains on course for the title in Italy’s Serie A.

The Rossoneri defeated AC Fiorentina 1-0 (0-0) on Sunday and have now gone 13 league games without defeat. Rafael Leao scored the decisive goal for the Milanese (82nd).

With three games to go, Milan are two points ahead of defending champions Inter Milan, who won 2-1 (2-0) at Udinese Calcio in the evening. Former Bundesliga professional Ivan Perisic (12th) and Lautaro Martinez (39th) scored for Inter. Ignacio Pussetto (74th) shortened for Udinese.

Meanwhile, Juventus Turin remains clearly on course for the Champions League. In the home game against bottom club Venice, the Italian record champions won 2-1 (1-0) thanks to two goals from captain Leonardo Bonucci.

With three games left, Juve have a ten-point lead over AS Roma, who drew 0-0 against FC Bologna. SSC Napoli completes the Italian quartet for the Champions League
