Scoring urge
After the break, Volendam put things in order and the team from the fishing village was the dominant party. Zlatko Pavicevic, who was unable to score once before halftime, got it right on his hips in the second half and was accurate no fewer than seven times. Partly due to the Swede’s urge to score, but also thanks to an outstanding goalkeeper Dennis Schellekens, Volendam turned the deficit into a lead and it was 18-17.
