– Yes, I can honestly say that I wasn’t very familiar with where I’m going. Life at the camp was really pretty wonderful. There was no need to take care of anything but himself, it was even quite relaxed, he continues.

– I am glad, for example, that Satu Silvo took strict care of kitchen hygiene. Thanks to him, I avoided all the stomachs and I didn’t have any other physical ailments, Mäkimattila laughs.

Mäkimattila donated the € 19,800 prize money raised during the program to the Finnish Mental Health Association.
Next spring and summer, Mäkimattila plans to tour the stage with his band. A new album is also planned for Midsummer.
