Artist Arne Quinze gets his own tulip
Arne Quinze owes the credit to his artistic contribution to promote the biodiversity of flower bulbs. The tulip ‘Arne Quinze’ was chosen by Geert Vanacker, flower bulb trader from Hulste, because the tulip in its growth and bloom tells the story of Quinze: “from the gray Brussels in its early years to the colorful cities today”.
The artist from Kortrijk has also been invited to Venice to participate in the 59th International Biennale Arte. The exhibition will run until November 27.
