Truck cabin completely burned out

The fire brigades of Koksijde-Oostduinkerke and Veurne were quickly on the spot, but they were unable to save the cabin, which burned out completely. The front of the trailer was also heavily damaged.

The driver was able to leave the cabin in time. According to the first findings of the police, a short circuit in the cabin or in the engine compartment could be the cause of the fire.

Due to the fire, the Toekomstlaan was closed off for a while at the roundabout in Wulpen. Traffic from the other direction also had to detour.
