The double murderer Janne Raninen tells a Swedish person about what happened in October 2003 on TV in the Bear Group series Volkan Ünsalin murder. Several people participated in the act. Raninen was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Raninen and Ünsal were childhood friends. However, everything started to go unnoticed in 2002. At that time, Sweden was the largest vehicle robbery robbery ever before at Arlanda Airport. – Although I felt anger at Volcan, I didn’t want to see him killed. I felt some kind of brotherhood and love because we had known each other since we were 10, Raninen says in the series.
Nevertheless, Ünsal died. Raninen not only saw it, but also participated in his murder.
– The fact that I was involved in killing Volcan was a kind of decision for that life. That’s when I finally noticed where it leads. There is no brotherhood, there is no allegiance. It results in one dead and the other leaving the spoon for life.
