Club Brugge coach Schreuder starts Belgian play-offs with victory, leader Union also wins | Football

Nieuwkoop scored from close range after 2 minutes from a rebound. 10 minutes later attacker Dante Vanzeir made it 2-0 on a pass from Deniz Undav. Before halftime, Josh Cullen added some tension to the game on behalf of the visitors. Early in the second half, the Japanese Kaoru Mitoma brought the margin back to two goals, again after an assist from Undav.

At Anderlecht striker Joshua Zirkzee was substituted after almost 70 minutes. Nieuwkoop was sidelined in injury time. Wesley Hoedt played the entire match at Anderlecht as a defender.
