The Eredivisie match between Fortuna Sittard and Feyenoord, on Sunday 1 May in Sittard, has been given a new starting time.

The kick-off was scheduled for 14:30, but the KNVB football association has announced that the ball will only roll at 16:45.

Conference League Semifinals
The KNVB is thus meeting Feyenoord. The team from Rotterdam will first play the semi-finals in the UEFA Europa Conference League on the Thursday before the confrontation in Sittard, in the Kuip against Olympique Marseille. By moving the duel with Fortuna a few hours, Feyenoord will have more space to optimally prepare for the Eredivisie game, according to the football association.

Hendrix and Linssen
Feyenoord qualified for the semifinals of the third European club tournament on Thursday evening by dealing with Slavia Prague in the quarterfinals. Midfielder Jorrit Hendrix from Panningen and attacker Bryan Linssen from Neeritter both came into action in the return game, which was won 1-3.

Conflict
For Fortuna, the match against Feyenoord is one of the last life buoys in its fight against relegation from the Eredivisie. The formation of Sjors Ultee is currently in fifteenth place in the ranking, but has only one point more than the last player Sparta Rotterdam.

Live
Sparta will be the opponent of Fortuna in Sittard this Saturday evening (6:45 pm). That basement squatter can be followed live via L1 Radio.
