The maxi tote model bag (38/58 X 43 X 8 cm, its measurements) in quilted Made in Italy lambskin is equipped with a big handle – and looks like a grocery bag in every way. Glamor and precious.

On the front, it presents the iconic monogram of the Maison in brass, which stands out brilliantly just like the wings of Icarus, the famous character from Greek mythology, son of Daedalus and Naucrates; on the inside, the grosgrain lining encloses a removable pouch. Spacious, right from the accessories, it “narrows” thanks to an internal chain in the same bronzed tone as the logo.

Pre orderable currently on American site by Saint Laurent and available in Italian stores starting from May (it is possible to put yourself on the waiting list), Icare is currently presented in only one format at the price of 3200 EUR.

Who likes it
The Saint Laurent ambassador, Zoë Kravitz, was the first to show off the brand’s new shopping bag. To present her as a preview, the star was immortalized in the streets of Los Angeles: detox juice in hand, she seems to have just come out of the gym. And there is no doubt that the novel Catwoman it will be just the first of a long line of celebs who will wear Icare: a style that we would see well on the arm of Kaia Gerberbut also of Julianne Mooreanother longtime “friend” of Saint Laurent.
