Gameplay Improvements and Updates
Before the start of Series 3, Playground Games also introduced a new update aimed at enhancing the gaming experience. This update specifically addresses excessive AI collisions during cornering. Furthermore, the auction house’s price caps have been lifted for cars not available through the in-game Auto Show. Multiple XP and credit farming techniques that exploit “Auto Drive” or render players invincible in “The Eliminator” mode have also been moderated.
Leaderboard Resets to Ensure Fair Play
One notable aspect of this update is the complete reset of all Rivals leaderboards. Playground has acknowledged that unrealistic scores had previously been manipulated and this reset will create a level playing field for all players. Designers admitted, “We understand this will disappoint players with legitimate scores; however, we opted for this approach so that everyone can start fresh.”
Regardless of the leaderboard reset, valid times used to unlock specific collection journal items will remain intact.
In addition to the Rivals leaderboards, a full reset of the PR Stunt leaderboards is also anticipated. However, no specific timeline has been established for when this will occur.
New DLC and Expanding the Experience
A brand-new DLC pack is now available for Forza Horizon 6, free for players who own the Premium Edition or Premium Upgrade. This Italian Passion car pack features an exciting selection of both modern and classic Italian vehicles, including:
- Ferrari F80 (2025)
- Ferrari 275 GTB4 Spider (1967)
- Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm (2021)
- Alfa Romeo SE 048SP (1990)
Conclusion
With these freshly introduced cars and substantial gameplay updates, Forza Horizon 6 continues to captivate its audience. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, the thrill of collecting exquisite vehicles and competing on a fair leaderboard makes this summer an engaging period for all racing enthusiasts.
