“No one asks ‘Who’s that?'”, Ikkimel sings in her eponymous song. Now, thanks to her ZDF “MoMa” performance, many indeed know who she is—now even in the USA.
“Come to the US”: The highly debated performance of Berlin rapper
A week ago, Ikkimel presented her song “Fußballmänner” early in the morning at around 8:30 AM in the so-called WM Arena of “Morgenmagazin”.
In this track, the rapper delivers lines such as “Fußballmänner, alles Penner. Bierbauch, Bratwurst, leckerschmecker” and “Lattenkracher, Mertesacker, Tiki-Taka in ‘nem Tanga”. During her performance, many viewers appeared surprisingly motionless, almost paralyzed.
“Girl, Come Over Here We Love You”
Many users in the USA enjoy the song “Fußballmänner,” even though they obviously don’t understand the lyrics. “Girl come over here we love u,” comments one user.
Some also make fun of the confused audience with comments like “why is nobody dancing?” or “the crowd doesn’t get her, but I do.”
