West Ham in the semi-final against Eintracht Frankfurt

West Ham United can continue to dream of Europa League triumph. The English prevailed 3-0 (2-0) in the second leg of the quarter-finals at Olympique Lyon and will meet Eintracht Frankfurt in the next round.

RB Leipzig faces Scottish champions Glasgow Rangers. The BVB conqueror prevailed 3-1 (2-0, 2-1) after extra time against SC Braga at the Ibrox Stadium at home on Thursday.

After the 1-1 draw in the first leg, the Londoners easily won the away game at Olympique. Ex-Hamburg player Julian Pollersbeck was in goal for Lyon. Scorers for West Ham were Craig Dawson (38), Declan Rice (44) and Jarrod Bowen (48). At Olympique, former world champion Jerome Boateng was only on the bench.

Glasgow were able to turn the deficit from the first leg (0-1) with a brace from James Tavernier (2nd, 42nd) in the first half. Braga, who played most of the game with a man down, saved themselves in extra time thanks to a late goal by David Carmo (83′), but Kemar Roofe (101′) scored there to make it 3-1.

The semi-final first leg will be played on April 28th. RB first receives the Rangers in Leipzig, Frankfurt occurs away in London. The second leg will take place on May 5th.
