Talpa has decided to send Noa Vahle and her camerawoman directly home following the exit of the Dutch national team from the FIFA World Cup. Noa is set to arrive back in the Netherlands tomorrow morning, with praise for her performance echoing in the media: “She did incredibly well.”

Noa Vahle stood out as the only reporter representing Talpa in the United States for the World Cup coverage. With Orange’s dramatic exit at the hands of the Moroccan team, her assignment has come to an end. Instead of staying to report on the remainder of the tournament, she is immediately returning to Schiphol, as tickets have already been booked.

Praise and Reflections

In the latest episode of Vandaag Inside, the discussions quickly turned to Noa’s performance. Wilfred Genee remarked playfully, “You’re starting to look more and more like your mother when I watch you.”

Colleague Job Knoester chimed in, describing her performance as “incredibly good.” Johan Derksen even suggested that Noa might surpass her mother’s fame, stating, “She has verbal qualities that Linda de Mol did not possess at her age.”

A Memorable Experience

Reflecting on her time in America, Noa expressed her excitement about covering the World Cup: “Being a sports journalist and reporting on a World Cup is the absolute best. I truly enjoyed it. I had hoped we could continue a little longer, but unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be.” She continued with an enthusiastic farewell, “I had a great time, and I want to speak for my camerawoman Esmée, who deserves credit too; we have thoroughly enjoyed this together.”

Upcoming Journey Home

What’s next for Noa? “It’s time to go home now, so tomorrow morning we’ll be on a flight via New York back to Amsterdam,” she shared.

Wilfred, teasingly inquiring, asked, “And will your partner be there to welcome you?” Noa recounted her surprise at her partner’s delayed return, revealing, “I was actually shocked. I texted him asking when he was flying, and he said, ‘Thursday.’ So, he’s adding another day away!”

Wilfred humorously noted, “That’s not typical for him, normally he’d want to rush home, and Tim (her boyfriend) is already eagerly awaiting your return.”

The Anticipation of Reunion

Noa shared her anticipation, “I’ll land Thursday morning, so I hope he’ll pick me up at Schiphol. Though he probably has to work and prepare shows, leaving little time for us!”

In a lighthearted tone, Johan joked, “He’s eagerly waiting for you. He’s already prepped for your return.” Noa concluded with a smile, “Well, that’s good to know!”
