This Will Be Her Last Show!
For many years, Schlager star Michelle (54) has been a household name. On Saturday, June 27, she is set to make her final television appearance with Florian Silbereisen (44). The host hinted at a poignant farewell just before the airing of the “Schlagerbooom Open Air 2026.”

A Moving Farewell from Michelle

“We have accompanied Michelle in our shows for decades—through thick and thin,” Silbereisen revealed to Bild newspaper. He emphasized that they have shared many experiences. “This farewell is genuinely sad because I know she means it seriously,” he added. The show master promised that the emotional moment would be even more impactful when she sings her farewell song, with light drones “crying” in the sky above the stadium.

What to Expect from the Emotional Show

Silbereisen indicated that viewers should prepare for a touching program. “It will be a very emotional show: Andrea Berg is celebrating 25 years of ‘Tausendmal belogen.’ Nena will finally let her ‘99 Luftballons’ fly. And Michelle will say goodbye for the very last time as a singer on stage,” he announced, as reported by ARD.

Since the show was pre-recorded, fans will also see Nena. Unfortunately, she recently had to cancel two appearances due to a wrist injury. On June 25, she shared on Instagram that she had broken her wrist and was undergoing surgery.

Other star appearances at “Schlagerbooom Open Air 2026” include names like Anastacia, Andreas Gabalier, Maite Kelly, DJ Ötzi, David Garrett, Beatrice Egli, Wincent Weiss, Mireille Mathieu, Vanessa Mai, and Andy Borg. The show will air on Saturday at 20:15 on ARD, and it will also be available on the ARD media library. (fkl)
