Johan Derksen seems to be completely off track with the dirt he’s spreading about Renze Klamer, yet he continues to stand firm. “My source is so credible that I genuinely believe in my words,” he stated.

This revelation caused quite a stir in the spring: Johan Derksen disclosed on live television that Renze Klamer was allegedly a “wild beast” behind the scenes at RTL. According to Derksen, the talk show host’s behavior is much worse than Matthijs van Nieuwkerk’s misconduct, which is a serious claim.
Johan Sticks By His Claims
Renze has responded for the first time, and his defense sounds credible. Notably, Johan’s story stands alone; no one else has come forward with similar allegations. This suggests that Johan may have a source with an agenda against Renze—possibly even Beau or Humberto.
Nonetheless, Johan remains steadfast in his assertions. “I could have been spreading nonsense, but my source is so reliable and internally positioned at RTL that I genuinely stand behind my words,” he elaborated during an episode of Vandaag Inside. “My source also indicated that Peter Lubbers was aware of this, but he denies everything vehemently.”
An “Arrogant Man”
Johan acknowledges Renze’s explanation that he was not enjoyable to work with because he felt out of place at RTL Tonight. “I totally understand: Renze was a difficult guy to be around when he was there, and that stemmed from his dissatisfaction,” he noted.
“The final editorial team was disorganized, he disliked the program, which naturally leads to some frustration. As a result, he left an impression of being somewhat arrogant and unpleasant.”
Worse than Matthijs?
However, claiming that someone is “worse than Matthijs van Nieuwkerk” is a different issue altogether. “Interestingly enough, Wilfred: I was quite complimentary about Renze. I don’t know the guy; I’ve never met him, but I think he’s a good fit for a talk show,” Johan remarked.
“He handled that role better than anyone else at RTL. But then my source approached me and said, ‘You’re praising him, but this and this and this is going on,’ which is how I found out. But I have nothing against Renze.”
