EXCLUSIVE. Two West Flemish phishers, barely 18 years old, steal 200,000 euros from 80 victims: “You have blocked your account? Too late, buddy. I already have your money. Kiss”

Two West Flemish teenagers were barely 18 years old when they killed at least eighty victims by making people click on a link that secretly gave them access to their accounts. For example, SM from Bruges earned 63,000 euros in a few months from phishing, his friend IL from Ichtegem even 197,000 euros. “I didn’t like lying to people,” one told police. His partner in crime was less bothered by this: “You blocked your account too late, buddy. I already have your money. Send me a nice photo of your wife and I will refund the amount.”
