Last year the 100th anniversary of the TT was celebrated. In 1925 the race took place once through Rolde, Borger, Schoonloo and Grolloo.
A year later, in 1926 and now 100 years ago, the race took place on the street circuit of Assen and Hooghalen for the first time. That circuit was used until 1954. From 1955 the TT is only in Assen. In the years that followed, the TT track was modified.
By the way, it is ‘only’ the 95th TT. There was no racing during the Second World War, just like in 2020. At the time, the corona crisis threw a spanner in the works.
