At the 10th round of the season in Elkhart Lake, the former Formula 1 driver fought his way up a few places. Nevertheless, he is losing ground in the rankings.
At the 10th round of the IndyCar Series season in Elkhart Lake/Wisconsin Mick Schumacher moved up from 22nd place on the grid to 18th place. The Dane Christian Lundgaard took victory ahead of David Malukas and the former Indy 500 winner Will Power. In the overall standings, Schumacher still slipped one position to 25th.
The former Formula 1 driver drove his Honda to the finish line for the Letterman Lanigan Racing team. Most recently, the 27-year-old finished 16th on the oval in Madison, Illinois – his best result of the season so far.
Defending champion Álex Palou continues to lead the championship. The Spaniard came fourth in Elkhart Lake. The Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio in Morrow County is scheduled for Schumacher on July 5th.
