About half of the residents who had to leave their homes after an explosion on Ombilinstraat in Amsterdam East on Saturday are allowed to return home. This is not yet clear for the other half, a spokesperson for the safety region said. A total of 24 apartments were evacuated in the afternoon as a precaution.
