Recently, the heating company ‘t Stokertje in Orvelte was declared bankrupt. However, the company is now opening its doors again. Siebren Moolenaar of M&M Installation has acquired the name and part of the retail assets from the bankrupt estate.

The stove company announced this in a press release.

“I am very pleased to be able to take this great step. ‘t Stokertje is a regional and perhaps national household name in the field of stoves, so I am proud to be able to open these showrooms again,” says Moolenaar.

Moolenaar has an installation company and it was a logical step for him. “The combination of heaters and air conditioners makes perfect sense from a technical perspective and ensures a relevant offering in all seasons of the year.”

‘t Stokertje employed 33 people, Moolenaar talks to these employees. “We will discuss with each employee what is possible and what is feasible to continue working within ‘t Stokertje. We really want to offer tailor-made solutions.”

The same applies to affected customers. Anyone with an uncompleted installation or outstanding quotation at the old ‘t Stokertje is invited to contact us, as can be read in the press release.

“It is very annoying for the people affected and for everyone involved, but we cannot change the past. Here too we try to offer truly tailor-made solutions,” Moolenaar concludes.
