Thus Lotta Harala writes in an Instagram update published on Friday afternoon. He was supposed to compete in Kuortane on Saturday.
– In the Lahti Games, I got a small injury in my back thigh, and I didn’t have time to get it in running shape for tomorrow’s race. So I have to miss the Kuortane games, and that’s really sad.
According to Pika-aitur, Kuortane has a fast track, top conditions and a great audience, which he would have had a great desire to run in a traditional midsummer race.
– Let’s use the few weeks wisely and I’ll return to the race tracks as soon as my leg allows it.

Harala, 34, ran this season’s best time of 12.78 in Lahti. The main goal of the sprinter’s season is the European Athletics Championships, which will be held in Birmingham from 10 to 16 August.
