The plans for rush hour lanes on the E403 between Roeselare and Bruges are starting to take shape. Flemish Minister of Mobility Annick De Ridder confirmed in the Mobility Committee that the works will be carried out in phases.
The first sub-project, at the Roeselare-Haven Izegem complex, is scheduled for 2028. The framework agreement for the necessary studies has now been approved. A second sub-project on the Chartreuseweg should start in 2029. Other parts of the project are still in the preparatory phase.
