A drunk man was beaten on Tuesday evening after unrest at a playground on Kerstroosplein in Eindhoven. According to a witness, the man took pictures of an 8-year-old girl, threw beer bottles at playing children and shouted foul language.
The police received a report about the man around ten to nine. When officers arrived at the playground, he was lying on the ground. According to the police, he did not want to say how that happened.
The girl’s mother told officers that a bystander came to her aid. He allegedly hit the man. The bystander also allegedly deleted photos of the girl from the man’s phone.
According to the police, nothing criminal was found on the man’s phone. He did receive a report for public intoxication. He was also warned not to enter playgrounds anymore.
