On June 21st, Berlin will be transformed into a huge stage. We have picked out the best Fête de la Musique concerts and insider tips for you.

It hums and jingles in every corner of Berlin. What direction does the bass come from? Everywhere – that’s the Fête de la Musique in Berlin. On June 21st there will be live music on every street corner, and it’s all free. The perfect day to just let the wind and the music carry you along. But if you’d like to plan ahead but your fingers are tired from marathon scrolling through the program: here are our tips on where you can spend the day full of sounds.

The concept of the Fête de la Musique is simple: celebrations take place on the longest day of the year. Everyone can take part, every venue can apply as a stage and every artist can make music on the street or come together with a venue. The concept was born in Paris in 1982 and has been an integral part of the Berlin summer since 1995. However, the flood of free concerts, jam sessions and DJ sets is slightly overwhelming. We have delved into the program for you and present a few collected treasures for the Sunday full of music.
