The Devil is looking for the German manager to whom he will hand over the technical director’s chair. He would bring Hardung with him as sporting director: the two have been working together since 2019. But they both have to free themselves from the Frankfurt club
Exactly three weeks after the purge of the sports area – the Black Monday of the club that went down in history for the simultaneous quadruple decapitation was that of May 25th -, Milan starts again, returning to fill some of the empty boxes. The weekend that just passed was the one that returned a coach to the Devil – Amorim the winner of the long casting – and is about to return the bulk of the management to the club: an agreement has in fact been reached with Markus Krösche, 45 years old, current Eintracht director. Now the second piece is missing to go to checkers: the German club must release him, there is a contract until 2028. It should be a matter of days.
talents

His name had been on the Rossoneri list of welcome profiles for a while and had immediately gained strength after the black smoke with Rangnick. We therefore remain in Germany to rebuild Milan. Krösche is a manager who is particularly skilled at identifying and valorising talent, developing it in-house and transforming it into potential capital gains. A philosophy particularly appreciated by the upper levels of RedBird, less so in the eyes of the fans: the divorce from Eintracht would be facilitated by a relationship that is no longer optimal with a very particular and demanding place. Krösche would arrive as technical director and would bring with him Timmo Hardung, his historic right-hand man, as sporting director (he too must reach an agreement to free himself with the German club). A particularly close-knit tandem, in Germany they are considered the King Midas of capital gains. Any names? Ekitike, Pacho, Kolo Muani, Lindstrom, Marmoush in Frankfurt, and before in Leipzig Nkunku and Dani Olmo.
same dynamics
—
Let’s say that the school, the current of thought and the management methods are those of Rangnick/Red Bull, with whom he came close in Leipzig in 2019 (he incoming and Ralf outgoing). And it is precisely in Leipzig that the partnership with Hardung was formed, with whom he then moved to Frankfurt in 2021. In the Rossoneri the two would therefore maintain the current dynamics and it is superfluous to underline that Krösche has already made his name. Two considerations to close. The first is decidedly positive: with Amorim and Krösche, Milan – albeit very late – will finally be able to get to work in the transfer market, since no one is involved in the World Cup. The second is a question mark: the coach and managers, in addition to being all new, do not know the methods and mechanisms of Italian football. Everything must always go in the right direction.
