A truck full of wood overturned on the N239 near Winkel this morning. The load ended up on the road surface. The driver escaped unscathed and was not injured. The road towards Alkmaar is closed for the time being.
The accident happened around 11:30 this morning. A recovery company is working to recover the truck and clear the road again.
The N239 is temporarily closed and traffic is being diverted. It is not known how long the road will remain closed.
