Podcast: Sanni opens up about the background to his hit song – “I haven’t gone out to attack”

The artist Sanni tells in the latest BFF podin the episode that he was surprised by the commotion that broke out You and that boy around the piece.

– To me, it was just a song among others. It really came about as a train of thought, I just started freestyling something, he reflects.

– There have always been all sorts of speculations about my songs. I’ve accepted that it is. I don’t think anything about my writing has changed, even though people might have more information about me.

Sanni’s ex-partner Shirly Karvinen’s current spouse, a rapper Water godsoon after Sanni’s song released his own equivalent song. In the episode, Sanni tells her thoughts and feelings about the answer piece she received.

– I know in my heart that I have not set out to attack anyone with my song. That’s all I want to say.

– I didn’t have a single battle idea for that publication, he says.

The presenters also address the speculations generated by the publications about a possible marketing trick, to which Sanni responds:

– There was no trick on my part. I didn’t hear about that whole story until my own publication week. It was quite a surprise for me.

The discussion also covers the differences more broadly. Sanni says that sometimes the breakup may have been brewing for a long time in the mind, so that by the time the breakup itself comes, the emotional process may have already been largely gone through.

– Some may deal with the breakup already during the relationship. I have a lot of experience related to that.

Sanni says that she deals with differences in a way where feelings are given time and space.

– Yes, at the end of the day, I am someone who gives time to sadness. I support the fact that things are dealt with before the same backpack has to be carried into the next relationship, he says.

Karvinen and Sanni told the public about the end of their long relationship at the beginning of last summer, shortly after Karvinen and Ahti were photographed in a close atmosphere in Ruisrock.

In March, Sanni released a song You and that boywhich fans interpreted as referring to Karvise and Ahti. A week later, Ahti released its own equivalent, a song Boy. Even before the release of the song, he had attracted attention by performing at Abreu’s concert wearing a shirt with “poitsu” written on the back.

– In recent weeks, my age and relationship have been dragged into the headlines without prior warning as a result of another artist’s actions. I was raised to always stand up for myself. That’s how I acted in this situation as well, Ahti wrote on her Instagram in March.

Karvinen and Ahti confirmed their relationship at the end of May Good morning Finland in the program.
