A person was seriously injured in a shooting incident at the Zetstee in Zuidlaren early this morning. According to the police, one or more shots were fired at a house on that street.

The report of the shooting came in just after 4:30 am. Emergency services came to the aid of the seriously injured person. This victim was rushed to a hospital.
A police spokesperson said that a suspect was arrested this morning for the shooting incident. No information has yet been released about the identities of the victim and the suspect.
