The 19-year-old woman who has been missing in the Hoogeveen area since yesterday afternoon has been found. According to a police spokesperson, she is in good health.
For privacy reasons, the police cannot report where the woman has been all this time and where she was found.
This morning there was an extensive search due to this disappearance. A police helicopter was deployed, among other things. On the ground, officers searched with several cars and motorcycles around the industrial estate on Europaweg in Hoogeveen.
The Veterans Search Team (VST) also supported the police in the search.
A Burgernet notification was sent last night asking people to keep an eye out for the woman. Police said she was last seen at work at 4 p.m.
Family and police were concerned about the woman’s health. Now that she has been found, the police have taken the woman’s description and photos offline.
