King of Sweden Kaarle Kustaa and the queen Silvia are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in Stockholm today. The royal couple’s festivities began at the castle before 10 a.m., and after that the royal family attended a thanksgiving service at the castle church in central Stockholm. There were invited guests.

The members of the royal family relied on colors for the occasion. Queen Silvia resplendent in her red outfit and pillbox hat. Crown Princess Victoria again relied on a pale yellow outfit, complemented by a big hat. Princess Madeleine was dressed in white for the service. Princess Sofia’s the pink outfit included a hat of the same color, tilted.
