The emergency shelter in the De Slenken sports hall in De Wijk was completely full last night. The sports hall has room for a hundred asylum seekers, and that maximum number was reached during the evening.
The municipality of Zwolle then decided to help. A group of about ten asylum seekers left for the capital of Overijssel by bus, the municipality of Zwolle said.

From Monday, the municipality of Midden-Drenthe will receive asylum seekers during the evenings and nights in the De Börkerkoel sports hall in Westerbork. This care is available for a week.
Previously, the municipalities of Borger-Odoorn, Aa en Hunze and Noordenveld, among others, also helped to provide refugees with shelter at night.
